Bangladeshi society caught in a trap 1
Bengali nation has started to forget its identity? Now Bengalis are giving less importance to their Bengaliness and more importance to their Muslimness, because of which the violence of right-wing mullahs is seen in the society? Yes, the Bengali nation is forgetting, or is beginning to forget, its identity.
At home in Dhaka city, we listen to the prayers of the imam of the mosque in the voice of the microphone coming from the local mosque every Friday; The imam comments on the society, he demands the society and asks people to come to the path of Islam to fix the society. The conservative imam talks about introducing Islamic law to supposedly make Bangladeshi society healthy; Women are asked to wear hijab-burka or veil, men and boys are asked to keep the Prophet's Sunnah on their faces - to keep beards, to pray; Also in the society there is the activity of Tablighi people, it is a very important organisation that has been able to make many people in the society wear beards and burqas.
How do we move or can we who are progressive or free-minded in such a society; When we boys and boys chatted, tabligh people suddenly came and disturbed us, they forced us to take the mosque, and none of the boys can sit anywhere even with their girlfriends, here too they fall under the evil eye of the so-called educated people of the society; Mullahs usually don't help when they are in such danger, but if they look a little different, it irritates the Mullahs.
